Didn't like the subject of the photo (i.e. cemetery?) or was the contrasting shadows too difficult, Bibibo? I did find it a little challenging. Now, does "Walk in the Shadows" mean actual shadows? Or the grey area between life and death?

Lovely, peaceful. The colors are so pretty.

Every time I moved a piece it 'fell' into another piece. Almost went together with little effort on my part!

Maybe I wasn't so lucky June, I found it one of the hardest "medium"s I have ever done. Big Red, many crime writers and criminal profilers call themselves walking in the shadows because they are still alive while dealing with death.

Spooky but an interesting puzzle. The lines and yes the shadows were very different from the norm. Your explanation fits Joann.

Actually, Pat has the best idea. This is a very historical local burying ground, and the shadows and dappled sun on this fall day were so peaceful. There are concrete benches scattered around, and many local go there just to get away from the rat race for a few minutes, or to eat lunch, or just More...

OOPS -- a meant "means just that."

I give up. I'm typing gibberish here today.

Corrections:
"...many locals go there...."
"Walk in the shadows means just that."

Scratch my first attempt at a correction.

I ran out of self-imposed time to finish but can see it would be a great picture to study. Aren't 'ghosts' also called 'shades', which could be related to 'shadow'. I find cemeteries both sad and peaceful...

Kay, that's a lovely painting -- but no way was that puzzle a "medium," you rascal! I do find old cemeteries very peaceful, though. Maybe not at night... Thanks for something entirely different!

If memory srves me, I earmarked it as a hard. And then, often my memory does not serve me well! I had a hard time with it myself, and was wishing I'd not sent it in as I tried to work it, lOL. Oh -- another little tidbit ... when I'd finished the painting, I leaned it against the wall on the More...

Now that is incredible!
I used to live next to an historic cemetery, no longer used. I found it just that Kay, peaceful.
The neighbours were so quiet!

Congratulations Kay on receiving an award for this work. Would love to see the whole thing. Is it on your page?

Gail, it's not on my page here, and apparently I took it off my Website. I will rescan my slide of it and let you know when you can view it. Thank you for the compliment of asking!
