Very unusal rock. 02/26/08

this puzzle rocks!

This is an island near Adelaide which has a magnificent coastline where these rocks are. I wonder who's photo this is. Also a great honey farm which makes the best honey icecream!
 |  |
I kept looking for the kangaroo! I didn't read the island part the first time through!
 |  |
very unusal rock formations. Neat picture.
 |  |
Strange rocks. I would like to see these in person.
 |  |
With imagination, I can see a giant hawk on the left and maybe an egg starting to hatch on the right!
 |  |
Is that a person peeking out from a hole in the rock?
 |  |
Pat, I see it too and Girl I thought so as well, maybe its Wagdy!!! But look at all the colours and formations of the rocks. Very nice.
 |  |
I meant formations of the colours on the rocks...
 |  |
I see the hawk and something is certainly hatching.
 |  |
Yes if you make the picture bigger with the Magnifying glass at the right hand bottom of this page, you can see its someone. Interesting isn't it? Monday 02/26/08

Fabulous photo, fun puzzle. Thanks!
 |  |
fantastic photo, its amazing how you can do with rocks what you can do with clouds, your imagination is the only limit
 |  |
Beautiful picture. I love rocky coastlines, always see figures where nobody else sees them.
Is this called kangorro rock because of the hole in the round one? With some imagination, you can see a kangorro altopugh it looks more like a hawk or a lizard, perhaps.

It is Tuesday 7:15 pm here in Santiago. It's weird doing tomorrows puzzle. With some luck, it means I'm one younger, or 13+ hours, at least
 |  |
I mean one day younger. I just finished translating a 20-page contract into English, my eyes are as red as the ship we have today. I think will do it tomorrow.
 |  |
There is someone in the hole! Never been to Kangaroo Island, but it is on my list.
 |  |
Looks like a turtle too.
 |  |
Frances, I don't have a magnifying glass on my screen! I have a Mac, and am using Safari -- that may be why. And when I zoom in, it gets pixillated, so zooming doesn't really help much.

Since no kangaroos were in evidence in this fun photo, I thought perhaps that hole in the rock looked like a kangaroo's pouch -- and look, there IS a joey peeking out!
 |  |
kangaroo Island got its name because of the amount of kangaroos on it
 |  |
My first thought -- this morning, was 'Kangaroo is what?' Then I realized it was an Island called Kangaroo. And, yes, there is somebody smiling out from that hole -- a very nice smile too. What fun!

Victoria, are you a native of Chile? Your English is excellent.
 |  |
not as easy as the normal ones usually are
 |  |
Great photo, fun puzzle.
 |  |
Thanks Judy, Yes I am Chilean, but have been speaking English since the age of 4. I studied at an American college in Santiago called Santiago College, so did my mother and both my son and daughter. I am a English-French-Spanish translator with a degree from the Catholic University of Chile and More...
