Aren't the greats grand? I have only one but I love him dearly - he just lives too far away to see very often.

I have a great grandson, also, the love of my life, but, I would love to have a great grandaughter....four grandsons, and now a great grand son. Fortunately, I do have one granddaughter...Erin Caitlin.

For future reference to people taking pics out of plane windows...ask and the pilot will tell you where you are and what you are looking at. That way we will know too!

Congratulations, Carrie! My daughter has 2 dogs & my son (who still lives at home) has one. That's the closest I've got to having grandkids!!!!

Thanks Pat, I thank God daily that my daughter can get to know her grandparents and great grandma. She is missing her Grampy though, with the exception that she has olive skin color and darker hair she looks just like my father-in-law some days. I tell her she has a Jerry hair style. Oh he would have spoiled her rotten and loved every moment of it.
Gotta move on before the tears come.

Anne and Ian your relationship is similiar to my husbands and mine. Though our communication is on the cell phone. I have called him when he has been sitting next to me a few times.

I felt ignored and he loves to chat on the phone.
