Somebody did nice work outside that shop window. ANY form of craftsmanship these days is rare.

It's a good feeling to finish something off. I wonder if the tiles are hand painted or inlayed with something?

What is "Braidwood," Kate? The tiles are beautiful. Is that a stone walk at bottom, or maybe a stained concrete walk? This photo leaves me with a lot of questions!

I'm fascinated with what I see in the window. Is it inside or outside? Oh, to be so lucky as to have a camera ready when I see an interesting shot!

Kay, Braidwood is a country town in south eastern NSW, half way between Canberra and the coast. It is becoming very 'touristy' with emphasis on it's heritage.
We have these old green tiles on one of our fireplaces but our feature tiles are the 'tree of life'!

I couldn't wait to see what this was a photo of as I was doing it. Looks like a cafe.
Cuppa anyone?

This must be a really charming little town. I hope the tourists don't spoil it, if they haven't already! Bluey, your fireplace sounds lovely and personal.
