l have never seen these at an orchid show. However, that does not mean they were not on display, it's just that the mind boggles at the different varieties. These are interesting.

Often wild varieties are not as big and showy as their cultivated cousins, in any kind of flower. But these are quite beautiful! I read that one type of donkey orchid will only bloom after a fire, so you may be in for a real treat next year ... though it's not much of a consolation for all the terrible natural devastation that Oz has suffered this year! Hope you are all okay down there!

I have never been a big fan of orchids but these are beautiful, so vibrant and lively!
I was please to hear that there has been no loss of life in WA after the fires.

They have actually charged someone will starting those fires accidentally. I hope his insurance is good!
