This is Anne's tree and grows in a large pot in our courtyard. It is not a particularly 'Hard' jigsaw, but is nice to look at.

There is a better photo at

Joann, the Cootamundra Wattle in full flower is a wonderful sight. There are lots of them around Canberra and very few around here - why don't you give it a try?
I don't mean to appear to be passing the buck, but photography is such a fun hobby and I would like to spread the pleasure around. Have a go, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks Ian, great photo. Did you get 'down and dirty' to take this with the sky as the background?

Ian, this is beautiful. I love reds and this one really stands out. I'm going to mention that when I went to the site that you recommended, I got a full page red warning from my virus protection, McAfee, that the site tried to download "something" to their computer. So, I didn't hang around to see the photo there.

Elizabeth, no it stands about 6 and a bit feet tall so positioning was easy.

Kay, I am surprised; I use McAfee and I had no such problem.

Joann, I don't wish to appear mean because I suspect you don't have a camera. So now is the time to start dropping hints to the family, you must have a birthday coming up, or even an early Christmas. A good digital camera that fits in your pocket is not very expensive these days. Then all you More...

I have just added a photo of some wattle to my Gallery. It's not a particularly good photo, but it might get me off the hook.

Ian, I tried the link again and got there fine, with no warnings. I haven't a clue why I did the first time. I certainly didn't intend to spread a false scare!

I love flowering gums. There is a property near me that has a boundary line planted in them. Makes a stunning sight when they are all in bloom. Pinks, oranges and reds. Magnificent.

Ian, sorry its so late that i am getting back to you but this is teh first chance I have had. I am a mad keen photographer and have a few digital cameras and have put them on the site but as yet nothing has come forward, I know it takes a while so I wait patiently. I will take a photo of the wattle as soon as it comes out.

Joann, that's wonderful news. It does take a while for them to appear. In the meantime you might give some thought to sharing them with us by uploading them to the gallery on your page. Please don't think I am pressuring you - It's your choice.

I am still learning the art of putting things into a gallery but I will try this weekend when I have a bit more time.
