Hi, I have finally plucked up the courage to log on after admiring the beautiful photos for so long! It's great to 'hear' from so many people around the world (not many from ENgland though!). We are enjoying a rare heatwave here at the moment.

Beautiful picture, eaa. Very few things equal a bird in flight.

Now, see, Eileen, how easy that was? You'll find good people here.

eaa, if you were at a museum when you took this photo, does that mean that it's an exhibit inside rather than being a live bird in the sky outside? Either way, it's very impressive.

Thanks, Kay, for asking -- I didn't want to sound like an eejit for "not knowing." Am glad eaa has cleared up the mystery! Eileen, a hearty welcome to you. What sort of temperatures are you enduring at present -- I always think of England as coolish.
