Peterhof is a stunning place. The gardens and woods are filled with interesting and beautiful sights. This is only one of them.

Richard, I have only ever posted one photo of a cat and that was my good friend, a seal point siamese, who died a number of years ago. It was shown once.

Ian, I remember the photo of your siamese. He was very regal looking.

He was a lovely pet - I still miss him.

I've just returned from having a cortizone injection in my shoulder and I'm going out to dinner tonight, so you won't hear much more from me this evening. Thanks to everybody for your nice comments, they are very much appreciated.

Carrie, my son sent me an email about a highway in Russia. It was the worst road I have ever seen. There was so much mud everywhere and the cars and trucks weren't able to go anywhere as so many had got bogged! It may have been the one you mentioned.
