interesting but I'd love to know why someone took this photo--there has to be a story

Ceri, if you read the instructions, it says "KEEP OUT OF CHILDREN".

Thanks--poor eyesight so details pass me by--maybe it's a way of measuring their internal growth!

I see that it has been lifted from www.engrish.com which is a site containing translation howlers.

Is that blood on the bottom left corner? Kinda gruesome. I know it's definitely a joke, but still a bit scary.

No, that's just a shadow of a hole, perhaps for a lanyard.

Funny how things translate ... it obviously wants you to keep the sharp blade away from children, but it's warning you not to stab them! But then, there are labels now used because someone did something stupid and then tried to sue someone else. So (news flash!) you should NOT use your lawnmower to trim your hedges!

My personal favorite encounter with "Engrish" was in the aircraft industry. You probably don't know that in the 80s (maybe still) Japan made all the aircraft cabin WCs for most of the worlds aircraft. I got a handwritten note from a Japanese engineer on a drawing, "Carefull. Insuration between walls"

I took a photo of a sign I saw in Singapore that said "No Entery".
