I put a table out in the yard for a garden, if I can get myself started. Need cans for the feet, to keep the snail out.

Elmer. I have never seen Clematis growing so thick and beautiful. I have the same type and color but they are sparse. How do you do it?

The rich burgandy is so pretty against the white porch railing. I had a beautiful white one growing on my lamp post in NJ, but have been completely unsuccessful at growing one here. Must be my black thumb.

MAGNIFICENT bloom! I don't think I have ever seen this plant. Boy, Joan, I WISH it was "icy" here! We haven't had a day UNDER 40 degrees celcius for OVER a week!

Clematis thrive on neglect. Even I can grow them profusely by doing nothing to them. This color is spectacular!

But it helps if they make an appearance above ground to start with....

Delightful, Elmer! I've found you have to be careful about pruning clematis -- that withered brown section of vine can have a very green end!
