I have heard of the London Eye but this is a very unusual view of it.

Hard puzzle, it is so dark. Hard to see.
 |  |
Too dark...I really can't make out the shape of the thing.....I do know that I would not care to ride on it!!!!
 |  |
It looks like you ride in a little pod. I wonder how many people fit in each one.
 |  |
Unfortunately, not a very enjoyable puzzle to do because it is so dark.
 |  |
Had only heard of the London Eye before - what a cool ride. Will have to try it someday.

Was very glad this picture wasn't in the hard though.

Good Maen!

It must hold quite a few people because I can see someone in a pale top & some other heads, but there's still a lot of space!
 |  |
Sharon, Kate, I think the pods are quite large and each holds about 25 people. There are aparently 32 capsules.
 |  |
Yes they hold about 25 people. I have been on it but in day time, August, 2005. It was excellent!
 |  |
Intersting aspect. Didn't go on the Eye my first visit to London, but I'm going to try it next year, for sure!
 |  |
Ooops, that's 'interesting'
 |  |
Thanks for all of the explainations, now I have a better idea of what I am seeing
 |  |
Hey, Maureen you've never told me that!

I was in London last week and rode the Eye. The view of London is great from the top. The wheel moves quite slowly so you can pick out the sights. Lines are long to buy a ticket and to get on the wheel. Don't miss it if you go.

I knew of the Eye and have seen numerous photos of it taken from a distance. This close-up and all of the info in the comments have taught me a lot more. It's not an activity for people afraid of heights like me, though! 4/2/08
