Solve the Jigsaw
To move a piece of the jigsaw, click on it with the mouse and hold the button down while you move the piece. To join the puzzle pieces together, drop pieces next to each other, if they are a match then they will join up automatically.

Are the "Hen and chicks" the large flower and the little flowers around it?

"Hens and chicks" is the name of the plant, because the "mother" plants are soon surrounded by little offshoots. Such a terrific plant! And a fun puzzle!

This plant meets my gardening criterion...It survives in spite of me. The "Hen" produces the flower stalk very abruptly and it grows quickly. Once all those buds on top open up and shed pollen the mother plant shrivels up and dies, leaving the "chicks" the asexually produced buds around the base to grow into the gap.

Great fun, thanks Bev! Those succulents are certainly made to survive!! And they look quite ordinary till they flower - some of the colours are spectacular!
