I think the black thing is the outboard motor. Fi, the reflected pinks of the sunset on the sand is lovely.

Well, I did this one earlier this a.m. and couldn't figure it out. You folks have given me some thoughts... Leelee you win... I think its a black dog. Joann the outboard motor is a good possibility but... it wouldn't be 'basking in the sun'. fi Help!!! what is it!!!

P.S. I'm going to the big city tomorrow to have my eyes checked... that may help!!! lol

I recognized the boat and motor as soon as I completed the puzzle, and I'm sure that's what it is -- a boat with the motor leaning into the boat. The "basking" part confused me too, and while I was working the puzzle I hadn't a clue what it was.

I'm going for the motor lying across the boat also, and the colours are wonderful!!

How about a big/huge turtle with its right front leg/foot/toes over the edge of the boat to hold the front part of its body up? Okay, I inventoried cosmetics for 6 hours today and can barely see anything but the tree for sure...

yeah, its defintely a washed up boat with the back missing, as for it being a motor,WHO KNOWs

I blew the photo up to 400%, and it's definitely a small boat with motor. The back is not partially missing, it's just buried in sand a little deeper than the rest of the boat. As for the black thing hanging out to the left of the motor, I think it's still part of the motor, but if not it doesn't look like anything that was every alive to me. But, I could be wrong!

It is a boat with an outboard motor but I think it's a crime scene too. The motor looks in good shape but what is all that debris surrounding the crime scene? Any Sherlocks out there?
