Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Oh, I forgot I had even taken this photo, let alone submit it to the site.

Nice photo Anne, but sad there was a bush fire. I hope there was no major damage.

Awesome Anne. Very spooky! I've seen lots of these skies; the picture brings back the burning bush smell!

Mother Nature's atonement is my first thought. Cheryl said it better. Beautiful, just beautiful. Thanks, Anne.

Kay, what is your avatar? Is that you with a baby doll?

Yes, it's me and my baby doll, Sally. I believe I was four when that photo was taken. Sally was my constant companion until the day that I left her outside and it rained. Her face cracked all up (that would have been about 1951 -- no plastic dolls then). I mourned her for months. Thanks for asking!

Kay, what a cutie! Yes, my dolls were before plastic too -- at least we don't go all the way back to china dolls. Anyway, you and Sally were very fetching!
