What a great photograph! I've never had any luck with fireworks pictures.

We took our 5 year old grandson to a baseball game Friday night and afterwards there was a fireworks display...must have lasted 15 minutes..the look of awe and delight on his face was priceless..it is wonderful to see things through the eyes of a child.

Pretty pompom of stars!
 |  |
That's some view! What was the celebration?

Glad that our neurotic dog isn't within hearing distance...fireworks are very frightening for her!

Dino, says it was the 4th of July. That's Independence Day in the USA. Or was your question meant to be a joke? I bet every day is independence day in Oz!
 |  |
Aussie's are not quite that independent! Obviously I need to brush up on general knowledge.
 |  |
Oh, no, Dino. Not at all. I want to know about Oz. Where is South Gippsland, for instance?
 |  |
America loves fireworks on the 4th - much more so than any other holiday (NY eve for example). Where I live in Florida, I walk to the beach, and every small town has a show. Your head just keeps bobbing back and forth to take it all in.
 |  |
Where are the fireworks? All I see are some flower pods ready to bloom and a small green frog.

That's what I'm looking at also, Martha. Do you think we are just seeing or not seeing things? Because everyone else has a different comment, about fire works. 02/28/08

The fireworks of a colorful frog sitting on a flower. Yummy!
