I wish I could read the certificates - did the photographer win all these awards? Clever person, if so! A wonderfully colorful puzzle, fun to do, thanks for sharing.

I agree with Joan. Was this a state or local fair? I'd love to sample all those mysterious things in the jars.

Looks like the photographer has talents in many areas! In our Appalachian Fair, in many categories the competition is FIERCE, and winning a blue ribbon (we do ribbons) is quite an accomplishment!

My guess is first prizes for flowers, fruitjuices, big carrots (photo) and the special award for the doily! Well done!

and congratulations Elly. I won a blue ribbon once for my Vidallia onion relish at our county fair one year but the bother and trips to the fair grounds etc. for the submission process were not worth the trouble so I never did it again. I was employed at the time also so that made it hard.

No carrots in that photo! Unusual photo though - a little girl hiding behind something - I bet that was an award winner too! Congratulations for all the awards! Fun puzzle.

What a thrill it must have been to take home so many blues. Kate, I think that might be a huge carrot in the photo, in front of the child. This is indeed a very talented (and hard working!) person. I hope we find out who it is....

Well, why not!
If I could put down that many preserves, I'd be bragging too!
Elly, carrots?! That is a cute child peeking out from behind a pillow or something.

Guess yesterday was a mentally foggy day for me. Oh well - today is clearer (I hope) as fight my my way through Photoshop and More...
