I especially appreciate this picture. I've wanted to go to one of these competitions since I learned they existed, but have been limited to brief glimpses of Olympics coverage on tv. Now a glimpse from real life!

Now THIS brings back memories, tho' this is beginner level. When I was a LOT younger, I was involved/ obsessed with riding and show jumping. Even made the Olympic team (not US), then shattered my knee one week later and ended my career. I still ride, but can no longer jump, not even this little thing.

Good fun puzzle, great photo. Thanks! Sorry about your knee & foiled dreams Heidi. One of my husband's sisters trains horses & used to show jump etc when she was growing up. She was one of the horse trainers for the horses in the Sydney Olympic opening ceremony & also one of the riders!

Sydney did put on one fine, fine Olympics, too, Kate! And all you Aussie friends -- an accomplishment I doubt will ever be bettered!

I said it may be Cathy's photo but I meant Celia from Toronto. Perhaps it's her photo.

How can you tell it's a Canadian horse, looks like any other to me! Must be the maple-leaf tattoo.
