Hard to imagine cockatoos as city birds, but this would seem proof. Great mix of manmade and bird.

What fun to live in Sidney where cockatoos fly free.

It sure beats pigeons on the balcony! Not too shabby a view from the window either.

Do not talk to me about 'friendly' cockatoos!. My garbage tin is outside with over 100 green grapefruit that those birds have picked off the tree AND there are still more on the ground. I am just hoping the truck can pick up the bin it is so heavy.
Still it is a great 'capture' Vici!

The bridge is the "star" of the picture! June, can you put any sort of netting over the tree? We stake wooden cutouts of dogs in the ground to keep away the geese..maybe that would work for the cockatoos.

Even though they can be very destrutive I still love them, they are so intelligent and friendly when trained and they live forever

Sorry they are trouble for you, June. Lizzie and I just stepped to the railing and a big group of them flew up to see if we had any food for them!
