We have alligators here, but we try not to swim with them.... Wendy, what's the real story? Are there really crocs in those waters?

The crocodiles are probably Johnson River (or freshwater) crocodiles, reputed to only be fish eaters: BUT if satlies are man eaters does this leave freshies to be woman eaters?

Help--just knowing that crocodiles might be around and that they spread to new locations during 'The Wet' put me right off the Northern Territory completely.

Yes! This is Lake Argyle and there are masses of freshwater crocs in the lake but mostly around the banks and islands on the lake! Word has it that salties are also here from the locals. I didn't know that at the time and won't swim there ever again!!!

I forgot to mention that my husband and I are in the front row and it happened to be our 40th wedding anniversary that day!
