Jus t click on the name of a bird that interests you and you will be linked to a page which gives a description of the bird and photos. I think the most interesting group are the Australian parrots.

Gorgeous! Are they carnivores? Thought it might be finding ants or whatnot in the flower. I see these kinds of birds in pet shops -- very expensive and they don't look all that happy. Lovely to see them in their natural sate!

These birds feed on the nectar they get from the flowers. Beautiful birds and so nice to see them flying free here in Australia.
