How pretty is that! There seems to be an address from Melbourne embedded in the middle, can anyone read it?

Shar, your eyes are better than mine - I just noticed the address - something "light pole in Melbourne" but it doesn't seem to be a part of the pole, but rather overprinted onto the photo, maybe? But so colorful - what a wonderful fixture!

It would be nice if we could have things decorated like this pole in my area, but vandals would destroy them almost instantly.

We were amazed at how beautiful the light poles were painted that I had to take the photo. Each one is painted differently and its only on the old ones but they certainly brighten the area.

I must really be hungry! Before I read the caption, I thought this looked delicious - probably crunchy, multi-flavored, lots of calories. BUT if you break your dessert apart (if it's crunchy, or chewy but not gooey), a lot of the calories fall out and so don't count!!!

This is delightful! It looks like a circus and makes me feel young again. We have a lot of festive colors on the boardwalk at the beach here, but nothing quite this elaborate. I'd love to see it in person.

There is a town in Nova Scotia near Truro that has all of its water hydrants painted diffrently. I can't remember the name of it but it is very creative and entertaining for tourists.
