I had a lovely walk on the beach early this evening. We are spoilt with our lovely beaches here in Albany.

We need some of that rain here. This week's forecast is sunny and warm.

What a great puddle to play in. Makes me wish I were five again.

I don't let the fact that I haven't been five for a long time stop me playing in the rain. I like it muddier though. The best is when the snow is melting and I make rivers to direct it away from our front door. That is play with a purpose.

Looks like outside right now. Our road workers are busy in the rain too, filling all the holes our streets sprung this winter.

Yes, I remember playing in the rain...lots and lots of fun. That was many years ago though and today I hate getting caught in the rain.

Great to see a little one playing in the rain. So many children now are told to stay inside when it's raining and they miss out on the simple fun that we experienced. 16 Dec 07

If he's not living in Oz, except maybe in the Snowies, I'll bet he makes drains in the spring. Kids in Winnipeg don't do that any more, so I had to. I complained...but loved it!
