I've been in the La Posada, but I don't remember this chair. The next time you're there be sure to have the restaurant's been & corn soup. It's amazing!

Wilodene(I just love your name). I've seen these chairs before, they fold down to a table. They were quite inventive for early settlers and served two purposes while taking up less space.

Innovative chair, but it's the rooster who gets my vote for 'unique-ness'.

Thank you, shar, I was wondering if that would fold down to make a table. Yes, the older generation was very inventive.

The rooster is cute, but the chair doesn't look very comfy does it? Big Red, it is certainly nice to see you posting again!

My dad was one for a fold down table. He had them in the last few houses he lived in. Mostly they were a kitchen breakfast type unit. It would unfold and expose some shelves that held the toaster and various other brekky accoutrement.
