Hard to imagine as it is 39 deg C here today. Has been for the last two days and forecast for the same for the next two days!

Beautiful scenery, but I'm not the skiing type. I'd rathe be at the lodge by the fire with a nice hot toddy.

I agree with Stagelady and Liz, I always thought it looked like fun.. so I tried sking a few years ago(with my kids church youth group) discovered it was not for me so now when we go I stay at the Condo and cook and bake or go into town and shop with the rest of the girls

The ski hills in Ontario are wonderful places and so busy with many people having a great time.Winter is just so beautiful, especially after a storm and the sun shines on all the nice clean snow. Just sparkles

On a bright sunny day, with the proper clothes you may not be cold at all, but exhilarated! I was in my 20's before I learned to ski (and I was a VERY slow learner!). But it gave winter a wonderful reason for existing! Instead of complaining about the snow, I could look forward to it. Warming up More...

I vote with DotCom, water skiing is a lot more fun and fewer clothes.

Hi everyone. Love your warm climates but have to agree with Nicole. I live North of the big cities, in ski country, and winter is gorgeous after a fresh fall of snow to see it on the trees and glistening on the ground like diamonds - but I guess you have to be born to it. Skiing too is exilerating.
