Where in the world is this great exspanse of beautiful blue?

I remember this picture of a crater lake, but I don't remember where it is. Indonesia?

Yes, Richard, I'm sure it's been on before but like you, I can't remember exactly where it was either.

This is Lake Tahoe. My arial photos keep making the rounds. The right side of the photo is Nevada. The left side is California.

Richard - Crater Lake is in southern Oregon. It is the deepest lake in the United States at over a mile deep in some places.

Yes thankyou Christina!! I loved Lake Tahoe, but it seemed strange to be swimming when there was snow on the mountains!!

Hello, all. I am a fairly new visitor and enjoying the comments as well as the puzzles. I thought it rather ironic that the Canada geese were in a puzzle just the other day and now Lake Tahoe which I read they have ruined with up to four inches of their droppings throughout.

I just came back from a caping trip with my children and grandchilden from Lake tahoe. It's lovely, even after the fire.
