And one of the First Fleet Class up behind: the Scarborough. I have an on-going soft-spot for the Lady Class of my childhood though.

A real land lubber here. So is Betty the boat a ferry? And who is/was her namesake? Sounds fascinating!

I read that Betty Cuthbert was quite an olympic athlete. She's an Austrailian woman.
I would suppose, Gramma Linda, that a river cat is a catamarran which would not be anything like a ferry. True, oh wiser ones?

Yes Judy, you are right. The river cat is a catamarran but it is a ferry as well and it runs between Circular Quay (Sydney city) and Parramatta which is on the Parramatta River and is about 14klms away to the west of Sydney. There is a Cat that goes to Manly as well but that is on the harbour. They are both good rides.
