Good morning Greg, yes, if we took their photo we had to pay them, about one solas was enough which was about US35cents, I think, or whatever we wanted to pay them.
Just having breakfast then off to work.

Anne: Child labour at its best. Saw a lot of that in India, Vietnam, and Mexico. The money goes to the parents (if there are any) or to whomever the child shelters with. Tough life for those children. But you know what, they get to eat if they're paid, so good on you!

Greg, since returning home I've been buying a little gift each week such as puzzles, pencils, colouring-in books, socks, etc, and have an address in Arequipa where I will send it for Christmas presents for the underprivileged children. I know that little bit isn't much, but I am enjoying choosing the items and hope some little children will get some enjoyment out of them.

Anne, I take my hat off to you - you are definately one of the unselfish people, who are unfortunately becoming rare into today's society.

I really enjoy doing the puzzles from your photos, it good to see other countries I have not had to opportunity to visit.

Anne: You have a good heart! I too do something similar, but I sponsor an individual child. When I send things for special days, I do bulk, such as lots of ballons for a birthday, or many inexpensive little toys (examples only), so my sponsor child can share with others rather then be veiwed as More...

Cute little girl. Maybe that llama is not so much a pet as her job to care for it until it is older. Well, it would be her pet now. We do the Good Samaritan's Purse through Franklin Graham. We make up shoeboxes of useful items for children..t-shirts, pencils, crayons, tablets, toys, etc., for Christmas & Easter.

I love lambs - roasted.

Greg, have you met the child you sponsor and where does he/she live. It must give you real pleasure to be able to do that for someone. I think that's great of you.
