If that is the bus lane the buses must be very narrow. Overhere (NL) the red lanes are for cyclists.

Brings back living in Sydney - can't say I've seen mounted Police since I've moved to Brisbane. It reminds me that as a kid I wanted to be in the mounted Police Force - I loved to ride & thought what better job than to ride all day. Ph well that's definatey a long way from the "Personal Assistant" career I have

Riding one last time is on my "bucket list", a list of things I'd like to do before I "kick the bucket" (die). I've always wondered where the phrase comes from.

I used to love riding when I was younger, would like to see if I still can after all these years, hopefully Linda you will get to do it and here's hoping that you don't "kick the bucket" for a very long time

I love these urban photos with a different twist! I was just talking with my contractor today at lunch - he was a mounted policemen in Texas, we were talking about the beautifully trained horses that they rode, and how attached they all got to the mounts who, literally, took them safely through in nasty situations. He misses that rapport with a horse.

UGGH! Missing the top left corner, so can't complete the puzzle unless I start over! It's so annoying when a piece hides behind the puzzle and wont come forward when you click off the almost complete picture!

I had to do it. Couldn't leave here without a 'Well done'!

Sometimes when you click the puzzle just right you activate the red edges and the piece underneath shines through.

Inner city somewhere - but I can't remember that small Hungry Jacks. Darlinghurst? Surry Hills? Redfern?

I'm glad there are still mounted police in Sydney. I was once chased up Cleveland Street by a mounted policeman when I misunderstood his signal, much to the delight of the horse and passers by. My little VW beetle couldn't compete with the horse on the uphill and when we stopped it tried to eat the plastic flowers which covered my car...so you know how long ago that was!
