I wish my hydrangea looked like that. Unfortunately while I was away at Christmas I don't think it got watered very much in the hot weather.

Just planted mine last year and hoping that they will bloom for me...they seem to be growing well, but time will tell. They were the same beautiful pink shade, but I like the blue ones too.

To all of you hydrangia lovers, I believe the color is determined by the type of soil you have and that can be changed by adding stuff to your soil. I think if you want blue ones, you need to put iron filings in the soil. I guess it is the acidic/ph levels in the soil. Anyone know if this is true?

Exactly right,Big Red.ph level is key to color. HD or LOwes has the proper additives.
