Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

to Sue. That looks like our wood pile did this past winter times six. Thank God we have a wood stove to supplement our gas heater or we would be bankrupt!

It's a lovely photo Sue, but I'm not sure that I want to be reminded of winter just now. We last woke up to snow on the ground about 3 weeks ago...just after I had planted my garden. Fortunately pansies are tough and I got everything else covered.

Lovely. Simple, yet beautiful. We could have seen it in the Blue Mountains (well Oberon) earlier this week June! That's only about 200km west-ish!

I'm with you Gramma Linda--I'm glad it wasn't a hard--as a medium it was hard enough to feel satisfied! And I'm really pleased that my everyday life does not include months of images like this despite it being such a beautiful photo.

That makes me appreciate my fire even more! My pile only gets wet, not white.

Thanks Sue.

Personaly, I just love my gas logs! Not nearly as scenic nor aromatic but they are always ready to light up and no ashes to sweep out. A lovely photo, Sue.

We have been cutting wood for our daughter's woodpile today. She might get some frost on it some mornings but definitely no snow.
