Such beautiful flowers. And like Joann, not for our drought conditions anymore.

So Spring is sort of sidling up to Oz? This is a great time for crape myrtle in Oklahoma -- surprising how much those bushes seem to love the heat.
Beautiful photo, kr!

These are from my front yard. Our city is host to the annual NC Azalea Festival and there are tons of them everywhere around. Ours usually peak during the first half of April, but if we get a hurricane in the fall, often their blooms are confused and are liable to bloom about anytime the following spring.

Kay, is that your first photo on the pages? Congratulations! That's a beautiful shade of azalea too -- we have an azalea festival in OK, in March, lovely things.

No, Judy, not my first. When I first submitted a batch of photos, two were used within the next 2 weeks, and a few others have since appeared. I'm now finding several from a later batch that I submitted being put up on various puzzle pages. I've submitted probably more than a hundred over time, and am pleased that some have been used.
