That is incredible-- I don't think I have ever seen such intense colors with a sunrise-- what is it they say "red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors take warning"

Candace, it takes at least 6 weeks for the photos to appear. I had some of mine take 6 months! Some start & sudoku then go to jigsaw, or vise versa. And others go to the crossword page & to the sliding puzzles (I don't know where these go after that!)!

What else is left to say about this astonishing sky??? It's exactly the color of Dorthea's avatar rose! (I'm wondering if the color balance has been tweaked a bit in Photoshop?) Do you really have sunrises that vividly red in Australia? Awesome!

About the photos appearing -- I've recently found a few of mine on the crosswords. I believe that he uses three different photos there every day. I've also spotted several (not mine) on Sudoku that I could swear I've seen on the jigsaws.

Sure do Kay, I've seen them. It's a beautiful shot. I love the gate... I've tried to get the same feeling with old fences/gates and haven't got there. The photographer really captured the feeling of outback WA!
Thank you.

Those are amazing colours!

I've had photos take 2 days and others more than 6 months! It's entirely random.

Those colors do not look like a sky from the planet Earth.
Maybe Mars, the red planet.

OK, so I tweaked it a bit in Photoshop...but it really was that colour. I just took the colour to the top of the photo so the clouds at the top stood out more. Did anyone notice the full moon in the middle, just above the rising sun?

Robin, tweaked or not, that is fantastic.
Thank you.

Nothing wrong with a bit of tweaking to enhance an already great photo.
