Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

YS:2841_ys_2.jpg] Very creative. I only knew "bilabong" as a brand of swimwear, and am happy to learn another new tidbit here. Thanks!

I, too, am now wiser - I thought a bilabong was a tree??? Great special effect with the mirror.

And I thought it was a musical instrument. Well, at least we are teachable. It's sort of the same thing as a bayou, really. Do you know the loneliest bayou of all?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I love this particular spot and always stop to watch the birdlife or what ever else is happening if I have time. The tree.palm in the for ground is pandanus. Some aboriginal groups gather and strip the leaves. They dry them dye them and use them for weaving baskets. There is a croc that lives in this billabong so it is not a good spot for a swim.
