Solve the Jigsaw
To move a piece of the jigsaw, click on it with the mouse and hold the button down while you move the piece. To join the puzzle pieces together, drop pieces next to each other, if they are a match then they will join up automatically.

I hope it was repairable . So sad to know that there was so much destruction in the Christchurch earthquake. Kate for a beautiful photo.

The cathedral was deconsecrated yesterday in a very emotional ceremony. They hope to extract as many artifacts from it as possible before partial demolition can start to make the site as safe as they can. It is hoped that the cathedral can be rebuilt on the same site, I think but it will probably look much different.

The corner stone was laid on 16th Dec 1864 & foundations finished in 1865, but they ran out of money to build the Cathedral (very small population then). The Nave & Tower were completed by 1881, and the west porch was finished in 1894. The chancel and the transepts were completed in 1904. More...
