I guess that jigsaw puzzles are not too popular on Sundays (in the USA).

Well, now I've read all about Bendigo. You Aussies are brimming over with fascinating places to go, people to see! I suppose the Chinese museum has to do with the Chinese "miners?" Yes or no?

Judy, Chinese history forms a big part of Bendigo and the gold rush there. I spent hours in the museum and gardens learning about it. The best part for me though was knowing that the Chinese still play a big part in the culture in Bendigo and are very active in the Community

The pictures from Australia remind me of all things that I didn't do and see when I lived there. You take so many things for granted when you live in a place...unless you have company and are showing them around. I'll have to go back a tourist!

I agree Bev, there are so many things that we do only when we have 'tourists' to show around!!

I'm happily soaking it all up -- the history, the scenery, everything. I am so glad that I found this site. There's so much to learn, from so many people who have seen it first hand. Thank you all. This photo is chock full of color and character.

That is wonderful about the Chinese miners I agree, Kay. It's like going to school every day.

Agree entirely Bev! As bluey says, we only do the touristy thing when we have visitors. Thank heavens Rena/Canada is coming to stay, at least now I will see some of the things around my city!
