Hey, no fair! she got more than I did and she's a gurrl. Beautiful picture. AS someone once suggested, you should be taking pictures for National Geographic.

Aren't they the cutest little things you ever did see... All fuzz and fluff - and they grow up to be so beautiful. Lovely picture Kay - thanks.

Kay, a fantastic photo, thanks. Using lots of zoom? We are watching baby magpies through the telescope.

Thanks for all the compliments. However, I can't take credit for the photography. Some of you might remember that my cousin is a wildlife photographer and gives me what he considers his "rejects." I don't think he's made NatGeo yet, but there's always hope!

I've been visiting my granddaughters (and son and daughter-in-law) over they weekend. They live 2-1/2 hrs. away and I don't see them nearly often enough. The girls are now 5 and just entering kindergarten, and I enjoyed the visit immensely!

Those are the cutest babies! And such a serene looking parent. Do birds have drugs? Great photo, Kay -- props to your cousin.
Is anyone in touch with Pat from New Orleans? I suppose she has evacuated the city by now. Scary stuff.

Kate, Santa brought the girls cameras last Christmas. The cameras are child-geared digital cameras with not very good resolution, so they will need "real" ones soon. Meanwhile, they are learning a lot about subject matter and composition.

I have been thinking about Pat this past week, and about all of the people that are trying to rebuild homes and lives since Katrina. We haven't seen Pat posting for a while now. I hope she's OK, and pray that Gustav will be gentler than he looks right now.
