Solve the Jigsaw

everybody! I often wonder if the places in OZ named 'Fitzroy' were named after the captain of the Beagle. (1830-1835)

Hi Joe & jacalmi!
Joe, the Cockatoo Island graving dock (dry dock) was named after Governor Charles Augustus FitzRoy (1796-1858). The cornerstone was laid by him on the 5th June 1854.
The Captain of the Beagle for Charles Darwin's trip was Vice Admiral Robert FitzRoy RN (5 July 1805 – 30 More...

Should be (5th July, 1805 - 30th April, 1865). He died 7yrs after his father!!

They were brothers, not father & Son - makes more sense!! Father was Charles as well!!
