Duck with and eagle eye.

An eagle in disguise? Or a duck who wishes to be an eagle? Or a duck who took a wrong turn? but absolutely a fun puzzle.

I wonder how high up in that tree he was. Most unusual.

Quuuuuaaaakkkkkk ..quack..quack

Kathy, he (or she) was about 20 feet up in the tree, but a telephoto lens and a bit of cropping made it look much closer than it was. I had never seen a duck in a tree before, pretending to be an eagle,
so I ran home to get my camera and take a few photos before it realised that it was only a duck.

I'll bet I had a harder time solving this puzzle than that duck did climbing the tree!!!

Duck with a high aspiration!

I agree with Pat, I thought it was a bit of a challenge too.

Must be a Wood Duck.... an Australian Wood Duck?
 |  |
It is a duck that is not bound by what is expected of him. You go duck!

No Jill, I believe it is a Pacific Black Duck (Anas superciliosa). There is a photo of an Australian Wood Duck on page two of my flickr photos (Four ducks, three species) the Wood Duck is the central duck - standing tall.
My, you really know your ducks. Have you visited Australia?
 |  |
Perhaps it is ducking for cover.

Pat it is a hard puzzle but ducks don't climb tree they just fly into them and probably roost. I just thought turkeys and chickens roost didn't know that ducks did. Monday 02/19/08
