Lovely photo

I wonder who put this photo up. It looks like Point Roadnight in Victoria... not too far from where I live.

we've had so many beautiful photos from Australia --I'll have to visit there sometime.

Wendy, you win the chook raffle. It is Point Roadnight, Anglesea. I took the photo during our visit to Anglesea last Dec. I've been holidaying at Anglesea every year for more years than I care to remember. The bathing boxes have gone and about six feet of sand have been washed off the top of the beach but it is still a great holiday spot.

I'm going back to bed now. See you in a couple of hours.

Very interesting name, I wonder what its origins are?

Kate, I have never thought about its name, I'll see what I can find - but it may not be today. Maybe Wendy/Geelong can help?

Thanks, Ian. Hey, if you were doing puzzles last night it must have been after midnight - you cant (apostrophe thief stikes again!!) have had much sleep! Im off for a while - finding provisions for my family. Sometimes (but not seriously), I think it was easier for my grandparents - they didnt have to fight with shopping trolleys or supermarket queues! (Only the Depression & 2 World Wars!)

Kate, I'm doing some serious batching at the moment and I don't sleep well. My wife is in UK visiting her brother and 93 year old mother. Only a week to go - Yay!
I will be off now to do some shopping - my daughter is visiting today and staying a day or so.

Kate. I've been thinking about your missing apostrophies and I think the problem is your keyboard. You are able to do all the normal punctuation, so it seems that the apostrophe is the only one missing. Try out the double quote marks (which are on the same key) to see if they work. If not then More...

Thanks, Ian. Yes it could be an intermittent keyboard problem. I will(!) do as you say although some other keys dont work at the same time - arrows (up, down, lt, rt), end & home. Also the quotation marks work ' & it only happens when Im doing puzzles!! Its an enigma alright!!! Have a good weeken all & sundry. 'See' you Monday

PS. I am doing this puzzle again before I go!
