What a cute "present" in the tree. Our cats love the tree so much we have to tie it to the wall to prevent it from being knocked over. Thanks for the cute picture!

This was Tinca's first Christmas. Theresa, shortly after I took the photo, I tied the top of the tree to a couple of plant hangers above the window! My late aunt made the Santa Clause and the little Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, along with the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. They are among my most treasured ornaments.

I Spy Tinca!
... I did the scarecrow first (as well as the edges, for the purists).
I compliment your timing - when did you submit this picture for such a timely appearance?!
I, too, have a collection of Christmas ornaments built up over time - some are very special to me. I got great More...

A fun and seasonal picture! The memories that come from certain ornaments make decorating the tree such fun and so special ...

Tinca is a cute name ... and she's a regal-looking cat, though her current setting is more fun than royal!

Oh, what a picture! I didn't spy Tinca until I read the comment. We put all our "good" ornaments near the top of the tree. Only ugly or unbreakable ones near the bottom. My first generation of cats was qute small and they got up in the tree when they were young. Later generations have only batted at the ornaments near the bottom.

Edges and scarecrow first here as well. Didn't even notice the cat.

I worked on Santas and scarecrow first. Like Barb, I didn't see Tinca until I looked much more closely. Small children resulted in our trees living in the playpen or on the dining room table. Now we have a small tree which I cover with miniature Hallmark ornaments.

Kate, I submitted this, and many of my cat pictures, late last year but when they all seemed to disappear into the ether, I resubmitted them when Gath was soliciting pictures earlier this year.
The fact that this is the first of mine to appear as anything other than an "Easy" puzzle makes me wonder if this is from the first submission.

It's a great picture Bev, though I too missed Tinca until told, just thought Santa had funny coloured clothes!!
When the children were littler we used to buy each of them one 'special' ornament each year, and have built up quite a collection including some that they made at school. Time to buy More...
