Did you, Sue??? We have plenty of eels in the river -- they mostly hang out at the downtown dock. I've never tried eating one, though there are places that serve eel.

They use a lot of eel in sushi, don't they? None for me. They are some scary looking things when you are diving/snorkeling but don't bother you if you don't bother them. I've read that they swim at night, along with the sea snakes and other creepy crawlies. Yikes, bet I could walk on water if I had to!

I've never seen a live eel in the wild. That could be interesting.
But I wouldn't want to be surprised by one!

I was taught to just say 'No, thank you' and keep the UGH to myself. That's exactly what I'd do if confronted with eels ala platter! Great Hard puzzle, however.

They hang out in the coral during the day, Heidi. They look vicious though they are only breathing. I like your frog!
