Another lovely photo, Sue. Love the sun reflection on the arch.

A classic landmark...so glad to have been able to visit there when friends lived nearby!

Libby, did you climb it? I understand the view is incredible!

To answer SD Shirley's question. No you don't climb but sit in a car/cage, that take you to the top. Almost like an elevator only sitting. When you arrive at the top there is a hall way across the top of the arch. There are windows to look out of, places to sit and plenty of history to read.

everybody. You don't climb it - you "ride" up in a little car with a total of five people jammed together. If you are at all claustrophobic, don't do it. But once you are up there, the view is spectacular.

Wendy W, to answer yesterday's Q 33C = 92 F.
I have conversion tables on my favorites.
One is very detailed where you can do weights and measures, so if you're cooking from a Merkin recipe and need to do it metrically, you just put in the known value and it converts. Anyone who is interested, please let me know and I will provide the websites. Sorry for being long-winded.
