A great photo Minnie--I'll do this when I get up I think--this can be my treat when I finish that paragraph I've been agonising over. (It's Labour Day in South Australia so we can sleep in).

Enjoy your day off tomorrow, Ceri!
Minnie - this Wallaby is adorable. Looking forward to seeing them in person soon (17 more sleeps and I'll be taking off for Oz!)

Best picture I've ever seen of a wallaby. Is it sitting on very long feet or is part of what's on the ground part of its legs? Lovely fur, too, and a sweet face. Are they a pest, that is, eat flowers, gardens, and such? Fascinating!

Long feet Linda. I have seen one or two around my area (semi-rural) but we have not had any trouble with them in the garden, I think they are way too shy.
Great photo Minnie, thank you.

Pinnaroo Cemetary, not far from where I live, is in a parkland setting with dozens of kangaroos and wallabies trapped in suburbia. It is an ideal place to take overseas visitors to see the animals at around 5pm each day. The only problem with the kangaroos is that they eat the flowers on the graves.
