Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Not sure how many stars this hotel has but it is verrrry nice. It has an outside courtyard where we sat and drank the obligatory Singapore Slings! then visited the 'Long Bar'.

Yes Liz, it was probably first seen as a sukudo 'medium', which is the only way (that I know of) that these photos can get into the jigsaw pages - via a sukudo page. I don't mind though because you can enjoy them (or hate them) twice,
Lyn/NE Englang (or is it England?) we were as part of a tour More...

Only ever transferred flights at Singapore Airport. Would love to enjoy Singapore Slings at the Raffles! My favourite cocktail! Quite an easy 'hard' by the way!

Kate, the record of our trip is in the final draft stage right now. It has been a forgotten project until just recently when I resurrected it. I am doing the final froofs and still have a couple of photos to include, then it's done. Please keep in touch.

I am also doing the final proofs (not froofs). Damn, where's the spell checker when you need it?.

Ian, I thought froofs was a great word. Let me know when you need a spelling checker - I'll approve any word I like the sound of!! otherwise just tell me where I can buy it. Sounds like someone's stealing white pieces you may have to sell the book soon to pay ransom for all those missing white bits!

I agree Kate, I like froofs, but it wasn't the word that I intended to use. It sounds like the 'Dictionary According to Kate' might be the way to go. There is a box of missing pure white pieces lurking around somewhere. When you find it can I borrow some please?

When can I get the book? No I won't do that. If I see them I'll let you know. We have something else in common. I 'retired' from the RAAF after 19yrs to go nursing in Sydney. I was 19. My Dad was a RAAF officer!
