Why is is that I cringe when one of my photos is a repeat - and there have been plenty of them lately? I'm just the dumb photographer, I don't select which photos will appear, but I still cringe. I am well aware of how many times my photos appear because I keep a record. More...

Or should I take it as a huge compliment?

Judging from that photograph, I would consider it a compliment..it is so beautiful, it bears repeating.

Actually, I wasn't fishing for compliments. The first comments were written at about 5.00 am and I suppose I was musing out aloud, so to speak.

Once you press the submit comment button the comments are out there. Ian you have never been just a dumb photografer. You probably have read the many 'not another repeat' comments.

Another wonderful picture Ian. Don't ever doubt your abilities as a photographer. Your subject matter and iamges are wonderful. You have a marvelous eye.

Thanks Ian, great photo. It looks like someone is having a side-walk sale. The building on the right seems to have a sign kiosk all trussed up so nobody will steal it.
