I'm glad to have the puzzles back. In the ice storm beginning Dec. 10, when the power came back on, my computer would not come on. Turned out to be the power source, but the repair shop had sold out of new power sources (lots of people had the same problem), so I had to wait until he got a new shipment. Have only had it repaired a few days. Happy New Year all!!

Kathy, hope all is better with the new year. I know the storms have been causing havoc all over. We had 60 mph winds the other day, but have had little snow. Hope everything calms down for you folks now.

Kathy from Kansas...aren't you happy to have your power back!!! My printer has not been working and I got that fixed today...not as bad as your problem, I know. My sister-in-law lives in Kansas...about 45 minutes from Joplin, Mo. and she has been keeping us informed about the weather.

Welcome back, Kathy -- sure takes the shine off a day if you can't use your computer. Phooey! Karen, were you powerless also? I was only de-lighted for a day and a half -- seemed like forever.

Sorry to hear about all the power cuts. What do you do for heating when you have no power? It must have been very cold. If my power fails in winter I have a gas heater but the fan would not work and it does not get that cold here anyway.

Maureen, I went to some friends', and thankful for them. I have gas logs in my fireplace which will keep you warm on one side if you stand in front of it. Think I'll buy a generator after the Christmas bills are paid.

no matter the size, a garden makes such a difference to us all

I love these huge, exotic flower plants. They're so unlike what we have in my area. This garden is lovely, and thanks for sharing with us. The colors are just beautiful.
