There was a whole flock of them, but was lucky to catch these two copying each other

This morning while doing dishes, I noticed a robin sorting through the leaves along the lilac bushes. Not far away a grackle landed, looked at the robin, and immediately began tearing through the leaves, picking up and tossing dry leaves and little twigs over his shoulder as if to outdo the robin. Animals are perfectly capable of the 'anything you can do, I can do better sentiment' ... mammals are at least! I'll take birds on advice!

I liked it as a hard, Eileen. I love the hard puzzles for the time you spend on them that lets you really appreciate the picture - and this one was a lot of fun!
