Is Cricket like our baseball?

cricket is different, but I'm no expert.

It is very different, Karen, but they use a bat and a ball. Cricket is much slower that baseball. Each side has eleven players and they take it in turns, when they get the other side out, to bat or bowl. Instead of running between bases they only have to run to the other side when they hit the ball but if they hit the ball over the boundary they get six runs added to their total.

Well, a bit complicated or different, but the fields are lovely, and it would be fun to spend the afternoon under the shade of the canopy, sipping something cold, with friends.

It can be very exciting, ntd. I remember an international game where Michael Bevan was batting and it was the last ball of the game and his team was two runs behind and he hit a six and so won the game. Very exciting!

I guess cricket has its merits, but, I think I will stick to baseball. I grew up with that...even broke a finger playing (I was never very good)!!!!

Love baseball never played cricket. Girl in my neighborhood played against the boys and whipped their tails most of the time. They'd get so mad at us because we was better than they was at it. Good puzzle and picture. 02/27/08
