It was fortunate that oil polution was minimal after Pasha Bulka went aground and it was able to be salvaged

Didn't we have the Pasha Bulka aground the other day?
 |  |
Makes me sea sick just looking at it!!!

A repeat, yes, but a great photo!

It's one I took during a visit to Newcaatle. Yes there was anoer photo of the same ship on a couple of days ago and yes this is a repeat - but I like the photo.
 |  |
D*mn, anoer = another. That'll teach me not to type in haste because I want to go to bed.

I bet this was a bumpy ride!!!!

ntd, the ship was hard aground, so it wasn't rockin' and rollin' at all - my kind of ship. It blew onto the beach during a savage storm. Fortunately, they were able to salvage her and tow her back to Japan for repairs.

Good picture, but at the end of a very bad time for people around Newcastle & elsewhere. Havoc all of the place, from QLD to Victoria!

Loved this image both times and am watching merchant ships going by on their way to Geelong. Twelve months today I was under the knife for five hours having a bowel cancer chopped out. Today I will do two hours at the gym (one down and one more later on) and probably two hours of jigsaws! I enjoy this site. Thankyou.

Elizabeth, you are such an inspiration! Long may you thrive!

Great action shot Ian, and much more indicative of that horrible day than the last one!!

Welcome Elizabeth, and congrats on a great recovery!
 |  |
Elizabeth, just before I get zapped by a huge thunderstorm overhead, may I congratulate you on your recovery and wish you well for a steady and continuing return to normal. Good luck.
I must turn off the computer now.
 |  |
Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your wonderful story of triumph! Long may you run, girl!

The CB has passed and nothing was zapped.

I would like to have watched them getting her afloat again. That must have been interesting. Another great photo from Ian.
