Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

It's one of my sunrise photos, taken just as the sun was peeping over the horizon.

Beautiful photo Ian. Not always easy to capture a sunrise as we see it.

This is a wonderful sunrise. How long did you have to wait to get the perfect picture????

ntd, I had to wait only about ten minutes on a freezing morning to get this picture. I usually rise fairly early, but this morning I had a bit of a rush of blood to the head and decided to throw some clothes on, hop in the car and find a decent vantage point. But don't worry, I'm cured - I won't be doing that again in winter!

Wagdy, Did you see the TV show about Egypt last night? Having been to both countries, do you think America is decadent and soul-less?

Wagdy, don't answer that! Particularly while you are still in the country.

Lovely sunrise, thanks Ian! And thanks also for risking frostbite to get it!

Agree with Ian - I would not answer that question re: America decadence and soulessness. Did you see on CNN that the English # 1 place of emigration (or is it immigration?) is to Australia? Apparently in record numbers barring the penal colony years. Guess they don't like us Yanks.

For some reason, I kept humming 'Morning Has Broken' by Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam??) while I was doing this puzzle. Interesting, but sad, how something so peaceful can trigger a political discussion or warning in such a small community as our sudokuists. Guess 'Peace Train' is too much to hope for.

Mike, we can always hope, in fact, I sometimes think that we must!

Mike,My husband and I have 'discussions' regarding Cat Stevens - he is a big fan and I get hung up on 'changes'(Must admit that he was a super song writer though)

Ian, that sunrise is absolutely gorgeous and suh a fun puzzle. I tend to do 'rows' or color bands and then put the 'stripes' together.Maen all.

Thanks a lot people. Now "Morning Has Broken" is running through my head.
Unfortunately, the picture in the archives has been changed. Again. Why does this happen?
Oh, pithy comment, Cliff.
